Recent studies released
through Med Web indicate high levels of toxins found in ten umbilical cord blood samples. WHAT IS GOING ON?
I sent an email to Med Web
thanking them for publishing this latest study. I also brought up the question of "what about the mothers" of these
ten now born children? Would not their health be affected as well? Common sense tells us so.
This study needs further
investigation and future research will tell us that women's health is also being affected by our environment especially during
pregnancy and postpartum. How can it not affect our chemistry?
HELP CHANGE THE
MIND-SET OF THE EPA
When the EPA continues to
allow higher levels of pollutants, rather than lower, something is drastically wrong in America. Instead
of protecting our health and that of our loved ones, the EPA's policy of placing financial gain to those who pay to pollute
is costing us tax dollars in increased health care. Something is drastically wrong with this scenario.
The EPA's standards for
what levels of toxins are allowed by factories and industry is causing us to breathe dirtier air, eat food sources with
ingredients that are not natural, and reports of skin cancer are on the rise as a result of a decreased Ozone
layer. Is it any wonder that the heat index has increased?
We simply cannot permit
the EPA to continue down the same path of blatant neglect in doing what the job requires - protecting society's overall health.
If we do not stand up for
our right to have a clean environment, humanity one day, as we know it, will vanish right before our eyes.
I am no rocket scientist
by no means, but even I understand the importance for demanding environmentally friendly compliance by the EPA.
ENVIRONMENT WORSE,
NOT BETTER
Before being diagnosed with breast cancer in the Fall of 2003, our son had just
finished both radiation and chemotherapy treatments for “Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma”.
After finishing treatment for breast cancer, my youngest brother was diagnosed with having squamous cell cancer
- a melanoma. He is now back to work - probably working in the same "dirty" dirt that caused the cancer in the
first place. Can anyone say "enough is enough"!

FISH - MALE OR FEMALE?
Similar reports in science
have indicated another new problem in our food chain.
We are all familiar with
the controversy over eating fish high in mercury - how much, what types are okey? We know that we need certain fish and food
sources to supply us with Omega-3 for proper brain functioning.
Now -- another side to fish.
With the increased production
and large distribution of certain medicines, scientists are now seeing both male and female sex organs in fish. TRUE STORY!
Fish do not have a choice
where they live - living down-stream from water run-off such as factories making hormone-related medicines and also down-stream
to your private toilet, fish in general are being subjected to chemical overload. As a result, an evolutionary
process of sorts may be beginning. Let's hope not!
IS IT OUT OF THE REALM OF POSSIBILITY THAT THE SAME FATE COULD BECOME OUR LEGACY? It definitely could - just think about it, and then act by contacting the EPA and your state
representatives in Washington to fight for you and your future health and that of your children and grandchildren and so on.
So, can we afford not
to get involved in requesting the EPA to change its policy? The choice is up to each and every one of us, but making the choice
to stand up and fight for cleaner air and soil, and safer food – is your right.
It means a “healthier you”.
IF
WE CONTINUE TO LOOK THE OTHER WAY - WITHOUT CITIZEN INVOLVEMENT, THE EPA WILL CONTINUE LISTENING TO BIG GOVERNMENT RATHER
THAN TO THOSE AFFECTED BY FLAWED POLICIES NOW IN PLACE. IF WE SAY AND DO NOTHING TO CHANGE THE STATUS QUO, THE
STATUS QUO WILL NOT CHANGE! CONTACT THE EPA TODAY - AND ALSO YOUR STATE AND FEDERAL REPRESENTATIVES!
